Re: Please post your technical questions here

Mike, question about the Thermalnators. Was I supposed to run gaskets with them? I was at AJ's (HemiTuner) shop tonight, and he doesn't like the idea of running them with no gaskets. I've been running them this way for nearly 10k miles. He wants me to replace them with Cometics to see if perhaps they're causing my rpm hanging and/or knock retard issues.

Re: Please post your technical questions here

Can you guys have made a set of rear links for a WJ the stock ones are just patheticly skinny any why you guys can beef them up. I was goin to buy a spare set and cut open a steel tube and weld it together. Let me know.

Thanks,
Chris

Re: Please post your technical questions here

Another question, even though my last one wasn't answered. How long are the sway link bushings supposed to last? AJ/Westbury Jeep says my rear ones are worn out and need to be replaced. They only have about 10k miles on them.

Re: Please post your technical questions here

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and I hope I posted in the right place and hope you can help I am about to start sweetening my ride and up first up is the suspension, (it feels kinda mushy to me)
I have a 07 WK Ltd. 5.7 with a tow pkg. and i want to lower the rear what looks like an extra 1" more than the front to make it level and drop probably 2" overall.
Will stock SRT springs drop and level the jeep that far?
I also just got rep SRT wheels and want to go with a higher aspect ratio tire...(Mostly because I like a bit more tire around the wheel to protect them from potholes)
Instead of 255/40/20, maybe 255/50/20 or 265/55/20 on 9' wide wheels all around.
will this spring / tire combo work?
