NX-1 --- 1968 Plymouth Fury III

I haven't posted some pics or videos lately but this one was long time due.
Let me know what you guys think, and I appreciate if you can comment on the streetfire.net site under the video. I had this video on youtube but they blocked the music so I decided to post it on streetfire.net instead.

Guys, this car's paint was really bad to say the least but you'll get an idea from the video. I spent a lot of time on this car and it almost didn't fit inside my garage, that car is bigger than it looks.
The owner had bought this car recently and wanted it to restore the shine on the paint again, he had previously tried but was unsuccessful, and that's when he decided to bring it to me.
When he dropped it off he wasn't sure I could bring it back to life. When he saw it after I finished it he was really happy and the look in his face said everything.

Click on this link to see the video.

Thanks! Yeah the owner told me it was indeed the original single stage paint. The paint look original to me, the car had plenty of rust spots and the car didn't seemed like it was never involved in any wreck. Everything looked very original including the motor. The car looked and smelled like if it was sitting in storage for the last 30 something years, not that it smelled bad but it smelled like a really old car if that makes any sense to anyone.

Great work Mario!

Just to let everyone know, to fit this boat in the garage, Mario said he had to put Crisco around the garage door edges.

lol

Man, that car left looking totally different from the time it came in.
Definitely I spent a lot of time on that paint alone.

Re: NX-1 --- 1968 Plymouth Fury III

I used to have a 66 Fury like that, white with a black vinyl roof, it was my getaway car. I did 120mph with that boat down the PIP with the 383 in it. I love old Mopar boats! Good job on the makeover, it was a vast improvement!
