NX-1 --- A little detail job I did on a 1973 Honda Motorcycle

Guys this bike belongs to the same guy with the red Porsche 924 Carrera that I did.
This bike was really dirty and it really showed its years. He simply asked me to bring it back to life.
When he picked it up he dropped off his new ZX-14 for me to also detail.
He went around the Honda and then said... "OMG... how many years did you just shaved off this bike now". He was really happy and impressed. I then went ahead and explained to him the areas that I was not able to fix or look better, like some chrome areas that the chrome was already flaking off, missing paint and there was no touch up for it.

Here's some BEFORE shots...

Thanks Paul! Yeah, I used different size brushes to get to all the places I could reach.
I covered the carburetor and dials and I rinsed washed the bike, I didn't want to use a lot of pressure on this old bike, but it was just unbeliavable to see all the dirt and grease washing down from that bike, especially from the rims and tire area. Ohh and I also washed clean the inside of the chrome wheel wells, lot of mud in there too.
Overall the chrome came out better than I thought it would, I was able to get rid of a lot of rust areas, you can see what I mean in the before and after from the license plate area.

My buddy has a black Triumph Rocket III, it's a huge bike, I think it weights more than some cars . He told me that it used to be the biggest production bike at some point in time. I'll be detailing that bike soon also .

Great job as always Mario. What do you use on the tyres? They have a nice new natural look.

Thanks Ray! I don't put anything on the tires, I just washed them and scrub them with a brush. I tell everyone that leaves me a bike that I won't put anything to dress the tires up, not on bikes.
