05-08 grand cherokee halo proj smoke headlight+6k hid

What do you think of these? For 180$ it seems nice. It includes both the HID (6000K) kit and Proj Smoke Headlight. Is it a good brand. I'm looking for maximum (legal) nighttime lighting. I don't want some fancy blue that's not going to help me see at night. Thanks for any info or thoughts.

You probably need to do a little more research before you jump in. The fancy blue that you don't want is exactly what you'll get with 6000k. Do a search on these forums and you'll find the info you're seeking.

IDK about those lights bro...but the 6K's IMO are far from "fancy blue"...they have a sexy blue hue haha...I have 6k's and love them, and light output is AMAZING!

I went with Xenon Depot 6500K Xtremes and found the lighting to be not what I was looking for. A little blue but not the brightness I was after. Went with the 4300Ks and am very happy with them. I also have 4300K in the fogs and the combination is very bright....like daytime in front of my jeep at night. To be honest I don't really even need the brights on the highway!

I like 6k. I have 10k now and hate them. Had them since I got the WK. It's time to grow up and get 6k.

Re: 05-08 grand cherokee halo proj smoke headlight+6k hid

I think the 6000k looks beautiful from the outside of the vehicle, looking at the vehicle. If you're going for sex appeal, definitely get the 6000k's. However, for driving purposes, multiple studies have been performed that prove the 4300k are easier on your eyes while driving than the 6000k's. The 6000k's will cause eye fatigue.

EDIT: Also, we're kind of getting carried away on the color temps. There is more than one problem with the setup you posted. That's why I recommended doing your research.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. It's to easy to pull the trigger on Ebay and get something that doesn't work.
