'05 4.7 heads - only 85k miles
So after a few P308 codes and eventually
the white smoke, decided to pull heads to
change gaskets and mill heads. #8 seems to
be culprit, as I've read others have.
A few questions :
- do I need to pull cam off prior to taking heads in ?
- is there a simple yet definitive way for 'shade tree'
guy to check block for 'straight' ( back by #8 ) ?
- are there replacement gaskets with a tad more
beef in area by #8, since others have seen this ?
