Re: 13.3 mpg; too little?

No,dont do it! I've heard WAY to many bad things from that. However,Duralube, motorkote, & Z max I've used and had good results.
The only slick50 stuff i ever personally used was manual trans additive, dont think they still make it,that was good stuff.

Re: 13.3 mpg; too little?

I used it once on a Escort a long time ago. At highway speed it dropped the RPM's an average of 2 to 3 hundred. Just wondering if it still works. I havent used it since thought, not sure why ... lol. Any bad things in particular, or just general ?

Re: 13.3 mpg; too little?

It's been a while ,but i remember people talking about how they just started getting leaks everywhere.something about it softens up gaskets/seals too much.

Disclaimer-I NEVER USED IT,JUST GOING BY WHAT I'VE HEARD FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE.

Re: 13.3 mpg; too little?

For the 3.7 guys who have poor mileage...Good spark plugs, good oil, and good tire pressure (I usually run max) go a long way...

I know some of you have to drive more aggressive because the 3.7 struggles to move all that weight...I can help you there AND improve your mileage.

x2 - when i granny it on the hway i can get 19-20 with intake/xhaust

in the city i get 14-15 normal driving.

If Im WOT all over then looking at like 9-10 mpg

Factor in little variations per unit and you should be somewhere in this range +/- 1mpg

So yeah at 13-15mpgs Id say you do most city driving or if highway your WOT all the time lol
