Re: 2006 wk spark plugs

My experience is the Champion OE do just fine. Save your money and stick with the same as what comes off the factory line. Had an 06 WK 4.7 and that's what I used. That's what I have in my 07 WK 4.7. Never had a problem.

Re: 2006 wk spark plugs

As long as you arent doing any other performance mods there will be no benefit to upgrading the spark plugs. The Bosch platinum plugs will work just fine in the 4.7 if you really want to use them, but the OE copper plugs will work great too. No real benefit for the extra cost.

Re: 2006 wk spark plugs

its not the same engine, but I used the +2 platinums in my 3.7.

Everyone said to stick with good ol copper, but I hate changing plugs.

Re: 2006 wk spark plugs

I opted for the champion platinum power plugs. Virtually very similar replacement for the copper core stock ones with platinum tips. No issues for 38k miles so far. And i wont be replacing them for another 60k miles.
