2007 Front Bumper & 2008 Bumper

I have a 2007 Limited and I was just in an accident. I was wondering if a 2008 front bumper would be able to be attached to my 2007. Has anyone had any luck doing this?

They 2008 will attach - but you will need to get 08-10 headlights.

Yeah, I needed new headlamps anyway. Do you think I would need new fog lights or will those just attach into the 2008 bumper. Those aren't cracked or anything so hopefully they will just fit right into the new bumper. I just like the look for the 2008 better and wouldn't mind upgrading to projectors later on.

Originally I was just worried that all the brackets that attach (or however the bumper attaches to the car) wouldn't line up or attach correctly

Fogs would work, you would need to get a new 08-10 grille, not sure about the supports that go from the frame out to the bumper support - I have an SRT so maybe one of the Limited guys can chime in.

Yeah I need to get a whole face lift pretty much lol. New bumper, new lights, new grill. It wasn't a terrible accident but just need a new everything in the front end.

Re: 2007 Front Bumper & 2008 Bumper

2008-10 halogen lights brand new are pretty cheap on ebay.

You should be able to do the conversion for not too much money if you shop around and look for deals.

I'm almost done with my 2008+ conversion and I'm still well under spending $1,000.

The OEM projectors are what has cost me the most.

[Yep, there have been several conversions, but it's the whole front fascia and not just the bumper. The grill cutout on the bumper is lower and the bottom of the grill slants more forward. The bumper conversion itself is 4 main pieces, not including grill and headlights.

Re: 2007 Front Bumper & 2008 Bumper

My waffle-fry looking bumper bracket cost me around $130 from the dealer. Couldn't find any better deals on one out there when I was looking.

Re: 2007 Front Bumper & 2008 Bumper

So I got my car back today...The conversion was TERRIBLE! The fog lights don't fit in properly AND they slapped on a Laredo front bumper when I have a limited so it's that cheap black plastic. Also, they told me I can't get the chrome air scoop because I don't have an SRT and they don't make them for the Limiteds.
