2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee V6 Almost Stalls

After driving for a few minutes and stopping (for a light or stop sign, etc), the acceleration response to begin driving again is delayed. The RPM's decrease slightly as this happens (never stalling, but sounding like a possibility). Then all of sudden the car will rapidly accelerate to compensate for the delayed response. This issue normally only happens on a cold engine. Also, once this happens it doesn't normally happen again while driving.

No check engine light has ever shown up.

I have already cleaned the gear shifter computer board because the car's computer was not registering which gear to be in. No issues since I cleaned it.

Take a look at your throttle body. Sounds like it might be dirty.

Re: 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee V6 Almost Stalls

This is an issue that all WKs have. Its a problem with the fuel pump/float in the tank. There is a warranty for the same issue on chrysler/dodge cars stalling but tey have neglected to acknowledge this as an issue with the WK. As of right now i dont think there is a well known fix.

When was the last time you changed your spark plugs. My 3.7 loves me plugs, night and day dif. This should solve you problem, IMO. The 3.7 calls for plugs every 30K, btw.

I remember a lot of people saying it could be the PCM that needs replacement.

Could be. When it comes to diagnossing things like this I'm a firm believer in doing the cheapest fixes first. I def feel that new plugs will fix this problem though.
