2009 Grand Cherokee Limited/Blend Problem

ve my jeep, its a 2009 grand cherokee limited with hemi,
just now started having problems with i guess is the
blend door, heat on driver side ac on passenger side, trying to find out which fuse to pull for how long to keep out to reset
the system, to see if that helps.
only because i read it somewhere. i have the duel
heating/ac system, with duel
temp dials i guess for front and
back

Steve

Kinda long winded, but the problem could be 1 of 3 things. I'm no mechanic, but from what I've read, it could be the control module itself, the module under the dash or the suck ass blend doors.. If the blend door system is like the old WJ system(and I believe it is but correct me if I am wrong), the door has to be replaced because the it is actually broken...and not moving. Honestly, I think this is your problem, because you have functioning heat on the drivers side. The dash will have to be removed to get to the doors. I did it on my old WJ and really is wasn't that bad. Dealers charge a mint for this...but most cover this under Jeep warranty. Hopefully you have one. I've already done the heater core on my 05 at 88k....I couldn't defrost my windows and smelled antifreeze all the time. I did the core last summer......ofcourse spilled antifreeze all over the rug and just got the smell of antifreeze out of the car now lol. good Luck!!
