Since this is our First Jeep and So far we Love it
First off I'm about to Install the Brake controller tomorrow.
I believe from research the plug is located somewhere under steering wheel ..above Brake pedal. Had Timbrens installed last week after I brought the trailer Home and bottomed out once on the way...
This has solved this problem.
Trailer is 3200lbs empty. All Aluminum . Tongue weight 10% empty. Aluminum rims/caps... Dual wheel with electrical brakes on all wheels and yes the controller is rated 2-8 brakes.
Hauled our horse around town last week-end with no trailer brakes with no problems....
Was just informed that there is no brake controller on the jeep, hence my purchase. Other than the feel after I install this module, how do I know for sure it's Working? Also was reading a little about self-leveling, does the jeep do this? Any other info on my tow/haul package or anything I might be missing would be great as well?
Guess a few more spec might help.
