I can get them in 265/65 R17 which would fit well, look good and are a T speed rating so acceptable to me insurance company

See http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....l=Grabber+AT+2 for reviews, all seem in favour

Do 265's fit without modification???
Got ya! I never had the Grabbers so I have no clue, but hopefully someone else will chime in!

Re: 245/70-17 BridgeStone REVO 2s Installed...

Thanks

My only two concerns are

1. Will they affect the fuel comsuption?
2. How noisy are they (I do a lot of motorway work)

Re: 245/70-17 BridgeStone REVO 2s Installed...

I will soon be able to answer my own concerns

Have ordered the General Grabber AT2 in 255/65 R17 and am presuming these will fit straight on with no mods

There is an H rated version which has 13mm tread depth instead of the 18mm of the lower speed ratings

Will be fitted on the 31st so will report back with findings

Can confirm that General Grabber AT2 255/65 R17H fit the WK with no modifications or rubbing anywhere

In the short distance I have driven on them seem to offer a better ride, no more noise (not tested on Motorway/Freeway @ 80 mph yet) and look like they were meant to be fitted as standard

Thoroughly recommending the Cooper ATR on the WK...

As you say - excellent winter traction, but very quiet on high speed runs with good off road performance too

What speed rating are they, when I checked, could only find "S"

Could affect your insurance
