Now, a 4WD burnout would be fun though
i had the same problem in my mustang. i had a 02 gt with a vortech s-trim and blower cams and had NO traction in 2nd. and when it rained......forget it. i usually went through a set of rear tires every 20k or so, and i was using summer performance tires like bf-g gforces and nitto 555's. i never really did big burnouts or anything, most of it was accidental.

lol, yeah, know what ya mean. The nice thing about the Mustangs is you can fit a decent tire back there. Mine came with 235/40-18's and in order to go to anything halfway good size meant new wheels, fender trimming, etc. Talk about a mismatch. Thing only had 400 hp/400 tq (kept it stock), but there were times I didn't feel 100% safe...it drove nice at high speeds and all, but you know what I mean.

And speaking of the computer control, what a double edged sword we have to deal with. I mean, it's easier to modify if you have the capabilities to 'tune it', but esp stock, it always feels limited and not knowing what gear/lock-up, etc. it should be in and drives me nuts sometimes. I sure miss my manual transmission

BTW - how much do the 2WD Hemi WK's weigh? I imagine they must be 400 or so pounds lighter, no? I'm sure they feel a lot more 'fun' then the 4WD stocker!

i was running 315s in the rear on my mustang, but they really didnt help, especially when you're running 450rwhp. ive never driven a 4wd hemi before, but the esp definatly keeps me from having fun with mine. the diablosport doesnt even have an option to turn off the esp, nor does it have the option to increase shift firmness.
