3.7 re gear issues

Can anyone help me out, i recently put qd2 axles in my 07 3.7 and reprogramed the jeep with hypertech 52501 for the 373 gears. I am in limp mode and max out at 40 mph @ 2200 rpm. Been talking to hypertech and they sent me some new files that shouldve worked but still dont, they said they will try and get another 3.7 wk in the shop to use. Does anyone make custom tunes for the tcm/pcm so that i can get the 373 gears on there that way?

Give paramount performance a look. Its pricy but they have a TCM that can be tuned

Could you possible have trouble with your transmission body valve?

No. This is a TCM calibration issue

Re: 3.7 re gear issues

My Autel MaxiDas DS708 allows for programming both tire size and differential gear ratios, but only to any of the stock combinations that were available on the WK.

Ah see the HP tuner I'm getting allows me to set any perameter I want in any of the vehicle systems. Come tax time I will have what's necessary to regear and eventually go boost

Is it just for the Jeep, or do you have to buy other modules for other vehicles? How about a make/part number. I want to look it up. Thanks, Jeff.

Re: 3.7 re gear issues

sorry for the long delay, i purchased the standard HP Tuner from summit racing, (same price but free shipping plus i had some coupon codes) anyhow the jeep runs like a bat out of hell now with these gears i am averaging 15 city 18 highway with a stock tune, previously i got 17 city and 22 highway with my hypertech.
