Re: 4.7-5.7

You're right the gen I 4.7 IS a dog...... a GREYHOUND!!! HAHAHAHA

Seriously though, calling it a dog is a bit harsh. I was dead even with a cooper S this morning from a total stand still to about 60ish. It's quick enough for me... wel that's a lie I want an SRT8 sooo bad, one day.

As for the whole 4.7/5.7 comparison, I would put it like this:

If this was a mustang forum, I'd be driving a v6 stang, Marlin would be in a GT, and Harryballz would be in a f-ing supercharged cobra.

I think the issue we keep running into here is.. WHY... You guys like to race on the track... ok then.... the 4.7 sucks for that... but some of us don't need that kind of power.

I'm not sure why you wanted to know the HP of your truck when you yourself said it was "fun"..... but everyone starts arguing that the 4.7 is slow?? c'mon now guys... relative to what?

Agreed 100%. I passed up a HEMI wk for my 4.7, Why you might ask? 1, horrible gas mileage, 2, more maintenance, 3, it was $2000 more for the vehicle, 4 Higher insurance rates, 5, higher taxes and reg rates, 6, my balls are big enough with my 4.7 and 90% of people that hear my jeep dont know its only a 4.7. 7, i love driving my jeep and have plenty of fun driving it w/o the need for a bigger engine.

And i only have a gen 1 4.7. i was not that that amazingly noticeable when i drove teh gen 2 4.7

Re: 4.7-5.7

Why to testicles always come into play? I could knock a building down with my balls but I didn't take that into consideration when choosing a vehicle.
