Why not a complete ome kit or at least the springs for the improved ride quality? I think the trip would be more comfortable/efficient with ATs vs MTs any way. I'm hoping to get a camper like that in the future, I have towing air bags in my rear coils and ill get the load dist hitch and flaps but I would like the get all 4 ome coils as well. You should look in to LED light bars from companies like Rigid Industries for your extra lighting. Less power usage and so much more light output!
Thanks. I've been an IRT fan since it came out, and it was part of the motivation to make this journey.

I started with the RR kit all-around, and like many who purchased before RR figured it out, I installed the rear spacers on the bottom, as per the instructions. And like many, I received no notice of the failures reported to them, and was unaware of the issue until one of mine failed. Needless to say, I'll never purchase anything from RR again. So I got the OME stuff for the rear and installed it last summer. I liked it, and so I ordered the front end shocks and springs, but haven't gotten around to installing those yet. I'll get to it next spring.

I've been looking at LED bars, but at this point the prices are just ridiculous for what the product is, does, and the frequency I need them. Power consumption is not a concern at this point as the HD alternator handles the demand without any problem, but the LEDs would clean up the front end a bit, so when I find them at a price I like, I'll either get a set of 10 or 12 inchers, or a single bar around 30 inches.

I've seen them all at this point. This trip marked 49 states down for my dog and Jeep. They have not been to Hawaii, and likely never will. I have the rest of the Canadian provinces on the radar now though, and 6 weeks of vaca to plan for next year............heh heh heh

Duh.. I don't know why I didn't think of that.

To travel has always been something important to me(seeing the country) Its amazing how much different one part of the country looks from another.

I couldn't agree more! I loved it out west, Valley of the Gods and Monument Valley were breathtaking. You pretty much can't go wrong anywhere in Utah. To the East, my wife and I love the Outer Banks, and of course the Florida coast. Going South, we've been to New Orleans 6 or 7 times, and are planning another trip there next spring. Closer to home, I love the UP of Michigan, and the northern area of Minnesota. But honestly, western Canada and Alaska blew all these places away. There's just nothing like it.
