Hey fellows well here it goes.. First off, i got a hold of the dealer i bought my jeep from and according to their record " Green Gifford flashed final drive control module for the 4wd system light, so much for that. @ 2005JGC what do you think next??? i think it's BADDDDDD NewsSSS! bear. Honestly if this WK don't get right soon, she's gone i've had it too much problems, not even my 98 Hoe has given me this many problems, anyway what do u fellows think? rear diff. going out already, damn!!!

If there are no strange sounds or strange working than it is hardly rear diff. Check the oil or better change it with proper one, add FM if required. Check all the connectors on all wheels. It can be one of the wheel sensors.

there is a solenoid in the rear differential... you dont get codes for a failing diff... you do get codes for a faulty solenoid or circuit failure... I havent had to deal with a "rear differential code" less seeing one where the wife backed into something that didnt move and pounded the cover into the solenoid damaging the axle housing and destroying the solenoid. FWIW, to get to the solenoid you must remove the rear differential cover.

I would need a code to even attempt to point you in a direction. if it is bothering you your best bet would be to call around for independent shops that have the scantools to pull this information or take it to the dealer. sorry.
