Here's what I've been doing this weekend! Excuse the bugs - I haven't washed my Jeep in a while...

Thanks, they were bright during the day, I'm waiting for the sun to go down to try and aim them on the building across the street - I'll see if I can get some night pictures up later.

Great job man! Those look sweet! Hook us up with some night shots ;)

I suck at taking night photos and I tried to aim them at the school across the street, but the parking lot lights were distracting. Here are some shots at the dead-end near my house.

You know it would have made sense to take a photo with just the D2s, however I totally spaced and forgot. The last photo is highs and D2s. I will get some LED only shots tomorrow night.

They weren't cheap...$340 for the pair, but I wanted something bright.

Looks Sharp! Looking to get the Matrix here quick before they run out of em. On a side not I see you're basically my neighbor. I live right in Woodbury. We should hook up sometime for a show and tell!

Most definitely! I drool over your Jeep on the boards regularly...it would be nice to drool in person.

I'm sure they would fit inside the Matrix - You'd have to drill mounting holes for them if you wanted them under the hoop. Otherwise, you could mount them upside down and bolt them to the lower side of the center section, because I noticed 2 holes for mounting there...I'm tempted to pick up a set of the 1100 lumen dually's in amber for fogs and mount them upside down in that location

Many thanks - I'm happy with my choice too. I keep checking out the new SR series LEDs and think they'd be sweet hanging from the center hoop - then I think again and don't want it to be too overboard.

I have the combo (driving) beam - 18 degree reflectors for the outside and 9 degree reflectors for the inside LED. The spots won't hit the sides of the road and the flood doesn't have the reach. Rigid Industries calls these Combo/Driving.

Best light add on ive ever seen. well done!-

#33 ·
do they give a temp for these bulbs?

#34 ·
I can't find a color temp anywhere - They say 100% optically clear (whatever that means) - I also found a cool chart with the different beam patterns - I have the beam in the center

Sorry to hijack, but I'm selling my 20" rigid for just a little more than the price of the D2's. The D2's are great too, so you can't go wrong either way. BTW, It's 7200 lumens :)

Is the price "just a little more" ? :)
