That doesn't sound right. I'd definetly check with the DOT and EPA.

hate to say i told u this was gonna happen. how bout some reps or a shoutout to me or my shop for all the over the phone help there buddy?

Spend the $70 and let the dealer explain to the district magistrate why they voided your warranty. Chances are the judge owns a vehicle with a warranty, too. If there is any room for interpretation in the laws, who do you think the judge will side with - protecting the dealer, or protecting HIS warranty?
