Re: Any Ideas Boys...i mean men?

Back in the day of carburetors these would be good to get since the fuel and air mix right there. More time to mix the better. Today... not so much since its just air going in on the intake.

1. K&n 63 series cold air intake
2. Magnaflow 12286 24' muffler (this is the best sounding muffler for the 3.7)
3. Fastman Ported throttle body
4. Synthetic motor oil
5.Airram powerwire

These have been the best mods that I have done to my 3.7, my jeep has better low end power and doesn't have any throttle lag anymore. The mpg has gone up to about 17-18 mpg in the city, i haven't checked on the highway yet but it looks promising.
Id start first with the intake and muffler, check out eBay, that's where I got my intake and Magnaflow muffler.

Hello gc4x4, how much did it cost you with the modification of that K&N 63 series cold air intake ?

Re: Any Ideas Boys...i mean men?

Yeah id agree with all the posts above... Cold Air Intake, Ported TB, Exhaust, and def suspension upgrade. Too be honest you will have to drop alot of cash to get the 3.7L to be fast. Changing the gearing and such would be the real way to get power to the wheels and then modifications would make a real difference. I have a 3.7 and I really like my Jeep but I'd much rather have a v8. Good luck with the mods. I have a custom exhaust in mine and I really like it.

Re: Any Ideas Boys...i mean men?

K&N's are around 300$ Most intakes for all vehicles are around that much as well.
