Anything I can do to eliminate outdoor odors other than a cabin air filter?

I have a cabin air filter, but the outdoor odors will still seep through worse than any other vehicle I've ever driven. Is there anything else that I could do to help prevent outdoor odors from entering the vehicle? Thanks.

the cabin air filter is not for making air smell better... make sure your not on a vent setting... Im not sure off the top of my head as far as what settings open the recirc door, if its on defrost it will draw fresh air, so just make sure its in a setting where the fresh air is off and you should be golden.

I leave my A/C on the front ducts only. Also, the recirculation button doesn't seem to make a difference. Maybe mine's broken? I know I often have to turn the recirculation button back on because it turns off by itself after I restart my vehicle, but all of my previous vehicles have done that. Is there anyway to test if the recirculation feature is working (physically viewing a flap open/close somewhere maybe?)?

.....but you can add a thin activated charcoal sheet (like for fish aquariums) on the back side of the filter and it will absorb incoming odors.

If the coil is moldy, there are several sprays (try NAPA or AutoZone) to clean and kill bacteria.

There is also a TSB for '05-'07 WK's: http://www.wkjeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk_2400606.pdf

Outdoor odors :\

There is no difference when the air recirculation is on or off, so I'm thinking there's a problem with that. I'll probably take it to a mechanic and see if they can figure anything out.
