A guy who drives an audi titty would have the stones to diss a Jeep?
Lift it up to OR-2 and run over that thing...

And a glorified minivan renamed as a crossover so the price can be raised [talkin about YOU, Ford, Nissan, GMC] would still smell like what makes the roses smell so sweet.

SUV, SAV, Crossover, all marketing terms and all translate to "lets raise the price a bit"

Lol, I really wasn't so much offended, rather thinking "seriously?". Kind of like someone walking up to you and your jeep and saying "hey is that the new nissan?".

From Wiki:

A crossover (or CUV: crossover utility vehicle) is a vehicle built on a car platform and combining, in highly variable degrees, features of a sport utility vehicle (SUV) with features from a passenger vehicle, especially those of a station wagon or hatchback.
Using the unibody construction typical of passenger vehicles instead of the body-on-frame platform used in light trucks and the original SUVs, the crossover combines SUV design features such as tall interior packaging, high H-point seating, high center of gravity, high ground-clearance or all-wheel-drive capability with design features from an automobile such as a passenger vehicle's platform, independent rear suspension, car-like handling and superior fuel economy.

lol superior fuel economy?

I guess that checks the GC off the Crossover list.

Re: Are our jeeps crossovers?

I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced within that shorthand description "crossover vehicle"; and perhaps I could never succeed in intelligibly doing so. But I know one when I see one, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee is not one!

...apologies to US Supreme cCourt Justice Potter Stuart (circa 1964).
