I agree. Look I went with an eBay kit and I regretted it. It worked but it was cheaply made and managed to break within a few months. I would stick with our vendors. If anything goes wrong, you contact them and theres less likely of having BS which some eBay sellers tend to pull.

Re: Are these HID's legit?

I learned not to buy cheap a long time ago, especially with electronics. Imagine if something in the ballast failed and it caused a fire. It's "unlikely" i know but I always think of the worst case scenario...

If you're implying that these are/are like the kits that Tony sells, you are sorely mistaken.

Bold statement from someone who probably has not purchased a kit from that vendor you speak of. Im sure more than one of us can vouch that the cheap ass ones listed on eBay are NOT what our vendors sell here.

Accidents will happen and anything electrical has the possibility of shorting out and causing damage, that's why there is safety measures such as fuses and relays to help prevent the unimaginable, That's why with these hid kits, you want to install the relay harness between it and your cars wiring to take the load off of it, even if it works without it, its a good idea to have relayed power straight from the battery to the hid kit.It also helps to have comprehensive insurance.

Fuses are a given but what I'm trying to say is some poorly made things can fail in ways you wouldn't expect--circumventing your safety measures. But don't mind me, I'm just a pessimist

Re: Are these HID's legit?

I wasn't stating it was fact, I was merely speculating. I've never seen one side-by-side and neither have any of you... so... maybe I am right, maybe I'm not.

All I know is that I've seen pics of both and they look extremely similar.

And no, I've never purchased Tony's HID kit, I didn't even know he was the sole seller on this forum of HID kits. I do plan on purchasing in the future though, so I've lost no respect for anyone or sleep over my previous statement, lol.

Oh, and you guys were quick to jump my nuts about that but still nobody has answered me on how much Tony's HID kits cost.

Thank you sir. Do they fit both lows & fogs?

Edit: I guess a better question would be, where can I find the thread detailing his kits? Sorry for hijack.
