That's actually not a bad idea. I've already got reverse HIDs, but for anyone else who was lookin to do it, this wouldn't be a huge investment and you wouldn't be burning out expensive bulbs.

Re: Are these HID's legit?

I haven't even clicked on the link.

Its Ebay, there is a lot of things that I would buy on ebay, HID lights isn't one of them.

The HIDs Tony sells aren't unique just to Baja HID. Searching around ebay and elsewhere you can find the exact same product, often with a cheaper price tag. I will also say that the ones I've seen elsewhere lack the lifetime warranty that Tony provides and only have warranties for several years.

Re: Are these HID's legit?

I bought from a VW vendor called bestdubs....still running after 3 years. They were only $80.

I bought a set of 55 watt off ebay for $50....first set didnt work. They were nice and sent me a new set, but cost me $16 to ship back.

A month later, a ballast went out. Now I have to pay for shipping both ways on this "warranty".

Since you are looking to buy for your lows (primary lights) I say spend the few extra bux. Fogs and highs are not as important.
