So I checked this DIY already http://www.jeepgarage.org/showthread.php?t=10297

And it doesn't resolve the problem. When I hit the auto-up on the drivers window, it goes up about 3-4", stops and immediately reverses. If I hold the button half up and manually roll it, it goes without a hitch. I've had this problem since I got the car in April.

Any thoughts?

Yeah i recently had the same exact problem. I was still under 3 month dealership warranty so i brought it back to them. At first they tried to re-calibrate the window, but that didn't work, so they ended up replacing the window module.

Make sure you make it known to the dealership before your warranty runs out!! I had been complaining about this problem for a long time at my dealership, but they never replaced the regulator, just lubed the tracks and such.... now they claim they can't do anything because my warranty is out! If I'm gonna get it replaced I'm just gonna do it myself, no point paying the dealer for it!!

It's an issue with the pinch protection, you wanna check out this TSB:

Mine do it when it gets cold out, the problem is the sensitivity of the software in the regulator module and it's resolved by getting the modules replaced.
I'm going to get mine replaced as soon as it's cold out so the dealer can re-create the problem :)

I know this is an old post, but I have this issue as well. I recently had my GC into the shop for an unrelated repair and told them about it. They want $1050 to replace my regulators and modules. Can this be done cheaper elsewhere, or is it simple enough to do myself?

This happens to me all the time. For some reason when my wife rolls the window up or down, she holds the button past it stopping. This is what triggers it. All I have to do is hold it in the down position and I hear a click. Bam it's fixed! I would try this before you spend crazy money at the dealer. JMO
