Question Auto-up window not working properly - 07 WK ltd

So I checked this DIY already How to: Fix Auto Up Window

And it doesn't resolve the problem. When I hit the auto-up on the drivers window, it goes up about 3-4", stops and immediately reverses. If I hold the button half up and manually roll it, it goes without a hitch. I've had this problem since I got the car in April.

Any thoughts?

with auto it doesnt take much to stop it. try cleaning the seals and adding some lube to working parts

also check TSB's at WKJEEPS. it is well know that the window regulators suck ass and I had both my regulators and switches all replaced under warranty for a TSB.

Yeah i recently had the same exact problem. I was still under 3 month dealership warranty so i brought it back to them. At first they tried to re-calibrate the window, but that didn't work, so they ended up replacing the window module.

Re: Auto-up window not working properly - 07 WK ltd

Make sure you make it known to the dealership before your warranty runs out!! I had been complaining about this problem for a long time at my dealership, but they never replaced the regulator, just lubed the tracks and such.... now they claim they can't do anything because my warranty is out! If I'm gonna get it replaced I'm just gonna do it myself, no point paying the dealer for it!!

5.7Unlimited is just really nice
Re: Auto-up window not working properly - 07 WK ltd

It's an issue with the pinch protection, you wanna check out this TSB:
http://www.wkjeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk_2300108a.pdf

Mine do it when it gets cold out, the problem is the sensitivity of the software in the regulator module and it's resolved by getting the modules replaced.
I'm going to get mine replaced as soon as it's cold out so the dealer can re-create the problem
