Avg miles per tank

Hello JG peeps! So I was wondering how many miles per tank you guys are all getting?? I just got home from Vegas (I live in LA) and I am clocked in at 320 and am in need of a fill up. FYI made the switch to Mobile 1 5-20 and tossed in some chevron techron fuel system cleaner.

Re: Avg miles per tank

i refill when my needle hits halfway mark, and on that half tank, i get 80 if i am hard on it, racing, or at the track. and if im conservative, ill get about 180 out of a half tank. usually takes between 9 and 12 gallons. always Sunoco, and always 87 octane. the ethanol they put in up here is about 10%, and it ROBS me of HP and mileage.

Re: Avg miles per tank

230mi. Pretty consistent for my weekly commute. It can be lower but it's never any higher.

My PR is 340 which is about 19.5mpg average with MDS on (diablo tune).

Re: Avg miles per tank

i used to drive 90% highway and i'd get about 330 miles. now i'm 90% city and get about 210 miles. the hemi loves the gas. i run a 93 tune and have mds disabled. neither made gas mileage suffer though.

Re: Avg miles per tank

Under 300 miles (480-490kms) per tank, 91 Octane. Mixed city/hwy. I take it easy, barely hit 2k RPM.

I noticed that, too.. but gas does suffer on hwy stints, right? I don't care what others say, there's no going around the fact that the Jeep gets better gas on the hwy with MDS enabled. For long drives, I always turn it on.
