Best A/T tire for WK (if possible with SSS snowflake)?

I'm looking at buying a new set for my 07 WK. Highway driving mostly, but extensive forest service road (gravel and dirt) driving as well, less mud. Moving to the Pac NW (I had snow tires for the WK when I lived in upstate NY) so I want something that works well when I head up to the mountains without getting dedicated snows again.

I am looking at:
Cooper AT3
GY Silent armor
GY Adventure with kevlar
Michelin LTX 2
(Not interested in Firestone Destination AT - always been a favorite I know, but the price is same as those above and treadwear rating is just not comparable so no need to consider)

all in stock size 245 65 17

Do any of these tires in the stock size come branded with the SSS rating (snowflake/mountain)? I know some of the tires (namely the good years) have that on their 'pro grade' LT sizes but I dont know if that is the case for the regular sizes.

Any thoughts? Obviously price is a factor, and I'd like to spend less if possible - but there are a lot of rebates floating around for buying a set of 4.

Timeline is Oct-Nov for purchase and mounting - in the Tacoma area.

I have a set of 255/65/17 General Grabber at2's on my 09 4.7. I have had them on for about a year now awesome tire Great in the snow and not to loud. Had Dest a/t's on my 99 4.7 I like the grabbers better.

The Michelin LTX MS2 and AT2 don't have a snowflake symbol. The MS2 is the better tire in my opinion, having run both of them.

You might want to take a peek at the Cooper Weathermaster ST/2 as well

I run 245/70/17 general grabber at2's. Snowflake symbol, great on road. Great offroad and in snow.

We have 5 sets of Cooper AT3's on vehicles and love them in Northern New England. That includes dirt roads, mud, snow, etc.

Hercules makes their Terra Trac A/T 2 in that size. I run them in 265/65/18 and they have been great.

Re: Best A/T tire for WK (if possible with SSS snowflake)?

I ran Firestone Destination AT's for 45k, then put on Cooper AT3's, which now have 20k. The Coopers are far better for Highway, and off road, plus smoother over bumps and less bouncy of a ride. The Firestones handle and steer a bit better, but are not worth the tradeoffs in ride quality and noise. Coopers are also a lot better in snow, where Firestones would spin more easily, with the QDII.

Re: Best A/T tire for WK (if possible with SSS snowflake)?

I have been reading quite a lot of very positive reviews on the Cooper AT/3. Seems like that tire currently is the "cream of the crop" when it comes to a great "all rounder AT" tire. Here is couple pics I pulled of the Coop and the Hercules. They look pretty close. Maybe why I like my Hercules so well

I have General AT2 255/70/17, you do feel the loss of torque with the larger tires, MPG down as well with aggressive tread and size. I do like the tires, took then off road just once and ripped the rear bumper cover off. OME MD lift, so it is not too easy to drag the rear, but the tire were up to it.
