The engine paint is made to deal with harsh dirt, oil, and chemicals too so I figured it'd be safe to go with. Still going strong almost a year into it.
It rained this morning, and I noticed that now my drivers headlight has moisture in it, so I've decided I'm going to buy a set of the OEM HIDs and put them in unpainted. It took me 8 hours to break the ones I have apart and paint them, and I still didn't get them sealed well enough, so I'll leave the next set alone.

Yea I've been through that issue with a past attempt at another car. I LOVE the look but if you don't get it just right than you wind up having to buy another set of lights. Sorry bout your luck

I love the look too but I'm using my mistake as a reason to go ahead a spring for the OEM HIDs.

No One: Your Jeep looks great!

Very nice, How does your lift ride on the road? I was thinking of getting a lift and new tires once I get my tax return. Also, did you have to do any re-gearing for the lift?
