Re: Blown Head Gasket...

I guess the radiator could be pumping coolant into the oil, and then sucking it out of the reservoir to make up for whats its loosing? May be...

Re: Blown Head Gasket...

hes right. i wasnt thinking. if its in there, its in there. somehow the intake tract is getting coolant, thats not normal. has to be a problem. some have suggested condensation. It looks like it would take a lot of water to make it that yuccy. so that is a doubtful answer.

not sure whats next. a stop at a buddy for a pressure, leakdown test?

Re: Blown Head Gasket...

I suggested condensation, I've seen it many times before.
Yes, it could be a blown head gasket, cracked block, cracked head, many things, but considering the age and mods to the engine I doubt very much.
You may recall he has no water/oil mix under the oil cap or in the oil. I stand by my assessment.
All the talk of this type of hose and that type of hose, could the catch can be sucking from the resevoir... lol, like WTF! LOL

Re: Blown Head Gasket...

It takes very little water to turn your oil milky.
