Very Nice, I'm also partial to that color.

Money is no expense on the intake...I just want the best for my Jeep on this.
It says 06+ b/c the bwoody is srt8 specific but we all know that it fits the 5.7 with no problems. ditch the k/n filter and get yourself a dryfilter i.e. Amsoil or AEM..

And again, there's the Arrington (which I wish I had b/c it's so bad ass looking and apparently it works better than bwoody for some srt8 folks!)

Re: Bought a used 2005

Thanks Blackpepper. Is there any coupons or discounts I should know about before purchasing either the bwoody or arrington? Anyone else wanna chime in their vote on what CAI etc to purchase? I have the K&N on my 99 wj, but I see that is not up to par! :-p

Re: Bought a used 2005

lol yeah, I love the color. Like changing things up. Went from a red 95 gc 4.0l to a black 99 gc 4.0l to a MIDNIGHT BLUE PEARL 2005 GC 5.7L HEMI !

I just bought husky liners all the way around for her. Now for seat covers. Anyone have suggestions for really really nice seat covers to protect the leather?

Re: Bought a used 2005

^^ have you looked into weathertech custom fit liners instead of the husky? they are nice and cover every contour and trap liquids from hitting any piece of carpeting.

congrats on the new jeep, i love that color as well. i also just picked up a 05 limited in khaki with 100K miles for 9k cash a couple months ago. the seller wanted much more cause it was original owner and all highway mileage

Re: Bought a used 2005

I like the husky custom fit ones. They are good and I got them for 160$ shipped new. Just don't know what seat covers would be best.

Re: Bought a used 2005

Atta boy! Welcome to the V8 club . I had a Airaid Intake and I personally loved it. I haven't have an AFE Intake, but I heard really good things about them!

Re: Bought a used 2005

Go for the Arrington Intake. I have one and it's great, plus they have a great support team.

Re: Bought a used 2005

They have some pretty low prices for what you get already. Call them and see if you can get a discount on putting a package together.
