Re: Bought a used 2005

OK, thank you pepper. I am sold on this...

http://www.shophemi.com/p-1565-arrin...ir-intake.aspx

But can you tell me what would be the best option to go with for the TB here?

http://www.shophemi.com/c-488-hemi-throttle-bodys.aspx

I don't understand what the difference is between the 500$ one and the 1000$ one. I def don't need nitrous that's obvious.

Anyone help ^.^

Thanks again

Re: Bought a used 2005

So far I have ordered...
1.) Husky Molded Liners front back and cargo area.
2.) Coverking Ballistic Seat Covers Front and Back.

I am planning on ordering...
1.) http://www.shophemi.com/p-310-hemi-9...ttle-body.aspx
2.) http://www.shophemi.com/p-1565-arrin...ir-intake.aspx

PLEASE let me know if I made any mistakes...or more suggestions on things I need to get before/after some of these mods are put on.

(I don't want to have to get something else before i put these on and have to take em off again.)

I am not going for nitrous or anything else, just basic bolt ons like this TB and Intake....and a tune maybe....suggestions please i'm so excited!!!!

Thanks again guys!!!

Re: Bought a used 2005

Call the before you order and check to make sure that the SRT8 CAI will work. I think they are different.

I am curious about the throttle body. I have been eyeballing that one and just can't quite pull the trigger.

Re: Bought a used 2005

The TB that costs a grand is billet aluminum and the cheaper TB is cast aluminum. Like for rims i.e. forged v. cast. Both work the same from what I read, but the gearhead with deep pockets would buy the billet TB

Are you doing an exhaust? IF you do, get full 3" piping w/ whatever muffler you decide to get. Air in, air out.

AND, the best way to optimize these modifications is............... a tune. You'll be happier, I promise
