Re: brakes done!

Hey Jon, how are the brakes still holding up? They're prices are great and I was thinking about getting a set for a couple of my vehicles if they are still good quality and worth the purchase. Also did you use the pads that they send with them or get a different set?

Thanks,
-Chris

Re: brakes done!

What kind of paint is best suited for them to avoid rust and stuff? Also, did you have to sand down the calipers at all to smooth them out or remove any rust/pitting first?

thx

Re: brakes done!

i used the G2 pant recommended by just about everyone.
follow this tutorial:
http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php...nting+calipers

But i just used a wire brush to get the grime off with the supplied spray. The paint when applied had brush strokes in it but when it dried it smoothed out, after a few coats it would fill anything in and smooth well on its own.
