Brush guards and skid plates?

Hey everyone, new to the site and new to jeep ownership. Can't stand to keep anything stock it seems and I'm torn between either a brush guard or a 4x front skid. Can I do both? If so or even if not... i'd still like to see some pics of different setups or at least get a little input. Thanks!

Thumbs up Re: Brush guards and skid plates?

.....I have hunter brush guard on order, ordering OME MD kit next week, and still debating on tire/rim setups.

Re: Brush guards and skid plates?

Send the Hunter brush guard back, and buy the 4xguard Matrix system.

Re: Brush guards and skid plates?

If you want the best 4xguard.com has the best and they work (front skid and matrix brushguard) together. Plus you can build your own brush guard and get only the thigs you want on it.

Re: Brush guards and skid plates?

I looked at the matrix after I had placed the order for the hunter guard. It does look awesome but a little pricey if you get everything that I would want on it LOL! Is the hunter guard of poor quality? I may send it back and just go all 4X i dunno yet...Thanks guys! Are you guys running the 4X matrix system?

Re: Brush guards and skid plates?

I LOVE my 4xguard Matrix system. I have even tapped an Explorer going 20MPH and not one ounce of damage! Looks great, works great and chicks dig it!! haha I am currently waiting on ordering the front skid plate now.

Re: Brush guards and skid plates?

I am very happy with my 4XGuard Matrix bumper as well. I also have the 4XGuard Front Guard and they fit together nicely. I am going to get the portable winch soon and see how that works. Hope the pictures come through.
