JRsmoothee, you need sway bars not different springs!

Not sure...I don't know what I had when it was stock, but it's definately lower than the Eibachs. I like the look and it still has a rake (1.3" rears). I have yet to get an alignment and am keeping an eye on tire wear to see how bad it gets on the stock GYs before I swap the rims/tires for a new set.

I'll go down to the garage and take a measurement from the center cap to the fender and post the results.

I've been holding onto the Eibachs to see if I like the RMs enough to keep them on and I think they will remain in the setup for now.

If anyone is looking for Eibachs, I'll let them go for a good price, as I do with all of my stuff.

DS: 16-3/4" from center of wheel to fender FRONT & 17-1/4" REAR
PS: 17" FRONT & 17-1/2" REAR

Obviously, not on completely level ground...rake from front to rear with the stiffer springs is approximately 1/2"

Re: Bwoody springs and wk bilsteins

First off, Scottina you are a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate your contributions.

I am considering running the Bwoody's with the WK Bilsteins. (am am currently on a stock WK suspension) It looks like some guys have gone this route and seem to be pretty pleased with the results. I would prefer to hold off on getting the SRT Bilsteins due to cost. From my review of Scottina's post on the suspension thread, I can expect a 2.5-3" drop from the BWOODY's, but then a slight lift of 3/8" due to the WK Bilsteins. Therfore, I will be looking at a net drop of about 2-2.5", correct? If so, this seems to be just about the ride height I want. I am looking for a little lower than stock SRT, but not as low as the BWOODY's on SRT Bilsteins.

I suppose that becuase I am about to drop down about $700 in total for this I am looking for some kind of reassurance. Do you all agree with my expected total drop and that this would be a good option in terms of performance (understanding that I will also want to upgrade to SRT sways to address bodyroll).

My end goal is to run the SRT 22" reps when they are out. Such a small tire looks a little rediculous without a drop. Also, any updates on those Factory reproduction 22's? (sorry for the thread hijack)

Thanks in advance.

Re: Bwoody springs and wk bilsteins

you may consider the NEW roadmagnet springs. they are less a severe drop in the rear. Your assumptions are correct...but exact measurements seem to vary from jeep to jeep, fuel, audio etc. But your are right there in the area. The SRT sways are a great upgrade too.

Scottina:

Thanks again. Your Suspension post was great help. I am going to see if I can find some SRT Bilsteins from a salvage yard too. I am going to look into the new roadmagnets. So I assume these are different from the Bwoody's (since the Bwoody's are essentially roadmagnets, but with different bump stops, if i am not mistaken), perhaps a new version?

Check that Scottina- I got on the roadmagnet website, and I see what you are talking about. they offer two options now, one with the 1.3 drop in the rear. Does this still provide a level drop, or will the rear be a bit higher with this set-up? Is there a variance in quality with the bumpstops from roadmagent vs Bwoodys?

Re: Bwoody springs and wk bilsteins

I have a set of SRT springs that I need installed. I know there is a write-up on here for a DIY install, but I really do not have the time to tackle this. For those of you that paid for installation, what are you paying in labor to have this done?
