Bwoody Springs for WK

So I plan on upgrading the suspension soon and for sure am going with the Bwoody springs. Here is the issue:

Bwoody springs are made by road magnet. Go to the site, and they are 1 cent more than on the bwoody site. But then I have to pay shipping, and roadmagnet has free shipping.

I also found a little coupon code from some mazda forum giving me 35 bucks off. AM1009 if anyone is interested but it expires Feb 21st. So the Bwoody springs would only be 345 shipped, but they come in that ugly blue.

So I've got a few questions. Did bwoody come up with the upgraded bumpstop design? will those be included in my purchase if i get them off roadmagnets site?

How do you think engine enamel will hold up sprayed on those if i prep them right? The blue will look odd with my green jeep. Has anyone done any home powdercoating? I am sure I can get them Powdercoated for like 40 bucks around my town, but whats the point when i would probably just do them black.

I know this is probably dumb but I am trying to save a few bucks everywhere I can to get as much as I can done.

I can get the SRT shocks brand new for 300 bucks. And then I plan on getting black SRT reps... Should look pretty good

Re: Bwoody Springs for WK

the Bwoodys do include NEW bumpstops....no idea on the roadmagnets.

I think just regular paint would hold up fine on them...as long as they are prepped and cleared.

try modernhorsepower.com sometimes they have them cheaper or pm tom@mhp

"I can get the SRT shocks brand new for 300 bucks"

I highly doubt that. No one sells the SRT8 Bilsteins after market. the dealer is the only place to get them and last time i checked they were about 700...............

Re: Bwoody Springs for WK

ok bro. is it just a coincidence that 315 is about what the WK ones cost from Bilstein?

315 is less than dealer cost from Chrysler so unless they are being put out with the garbage or something, that price is crazy.

i am a skeptical NY'er so ill believe it if/when we see them.

good luck.

Re: Bwoody Springs for WK

No, its a sketchy dude I ride bikes with who works for a Chrysler dealership. Said if I can get him a 2g iphone so he can jailbreak it. He would get me the shocks at cost. Guess who works at AT&T and can get referbed 2g's for 40 bucks?

This guy.. So i guess its 315 + the 40 dollar phone.

Ill post up when I get them

Re: Bwoody Springs for WK

Ive read about a 2.5 inch dropfrom stock WK to srt suspension with bwoodys..

I got my borla exhaust in a similar way, his father is a mechanic there and they had a leased jeep that had to be returned to stock. He gave it to me for an ATT home manager that they no longer make
