Re: caliper covers

The caliper covers are clipped on no glue is necessary and the clips provide a tight connection. It's obviously all a personal preference.

CHALLENGERBIZJET,

this thread is not about REAL caliper covers that clip on but fake plastic covers that are glued on.

Re: caliper covers

Auto anything, they also had a nice coupon which took quite a bit off. I had my dealer do it while i was getting an oil change, tire rotation and 7 TSBs so they did it for free. It does look pretty simple though as long as you can hoist the car up some how.

I track my jeep and the last think I need when coming into a corner is brake fade cuz of some ghetto caliper covers. try stopping 2 tons from 100+ and get brake fade. promise you will change your mind on covers.

doesn't matter if people have a race car or not, fact is there are a few people on here who probably track their rigs and I put my entire paycheck on them not having covers. and its tacky. if you don't have the money for real ones just paint your stock calipers. get the look you want and no compromise on safety.

I wasn't concerning myself with his car. if you actually read my reply, it was directed at the racecar comment and that there are NORMAL STREET CARS that do see track time.

The second part also wasn't directed specifically at him but at the whole idea of caliper covers. so before you go and chastise me make sure you know what im talking about

Re: caliper covers

You make sure of what you're talking about before you type. You're opinions of (ghetto) calipers are just that ones you value...it doesn't mean anyone else does. You drive your car your way and everyone else will do the same.

Obviously I know what im talking about if I had to explain it to you. youre the one who cant seem to get it...but that's okay. my original comment wasn't even towards you, youre the one who stepped in and wants to play internet police.

again, telling me to know what im talking about after I had to explain it to you tells me you don't know what im talking about. it went way over your head
