I don't think it'd deter me one bit. Like Scott said, anything out there can be cloned.

Saving money really isn't the point. It's representing that you have something that you don't.

Re: caliper covers

I dont think the SRt Jeep is easy to clone. Its very, very expensive and a lot of hard work...

Re: caliper covers

I think what he meant is there's no sheet metal changes, so it is actually relatively easy to clone SRT.
Much harder to accurately clone things like GTR Skylines (wider gaurds and rear quarters), M3/M5/M6 (again, wider panels), and a bunch more besides.

Re: caliper covers

i have $6500 in mods on my jeep, and im not even done. i dont consider it an easy clone. i am cloning my jeep after the srt, because i love it, and i love the build process. am i fooling anyone?? nope. am i trying to? nope. its not hard to tell with mine considering the fact that the only year the srt was made in dark khaki, was in 05.....very limited production, with 3.7l v6

Re: caliper covers

Well if i'm a poser for putting fake Brembo covers on my GC then I will take that but in my defense I am only a broke full time medical student who wanted to complete his srt clone. ps for the record check out the tail of my GC. I believe that posers are those who say they are something that they aren't...and since i never told anyone that i have an srt8 or real brembos I stay true to myself.

But slapping "BREMBO" on your brake calipers doesn't 'say' that your are pretending to have Brembos...?

I've got no beef, but that last part didn't make any sense.

Just because you don't say (speak) something, doesn't mean you still aren't posing to have something you don't. The fake badging does all the talking for you.
