Re: caliper covers

Hey guys, I apologize if I came off as an ass. I was just throwing out my opinion, and I admit I may have been a little strong. The Aussie wanker is right, ask 100 people, get 100 different responses.

Re: caliper covers

Definitely not my thing but like it has been said, you shouldn't care what other people think. However, you have to realize this is a public forum and naturally people will voice their opinions. Dissenters are inevitable so don't let it get to you.

I don't care about the Brembo bling, I just want the stopping power. Has anyone done a full Brembo conversion? What's it run?

Re: caliper covers

Is there any problem with the glue-on caliper covers when you need to change the pads?

Re: caliper covers

yeah...I did the brembo conversion. Its very costly...but worth it IMO. It did cost me a little more becasue I went ahead and had the brembos rebuilt and completey coated with an aerospace coating that is super thin and withstands heat better than powdercoating. They are almost bulletproof. The hard part is rounding up the parts...especially the SRT spindles.(they are srt jeep specific) The rest of the parts are pretty easy...the brembos from all srt's...lx and jeep are the same. So Brembos from a charger, 300c and so on are the same. Then you need the brake lines and such. the rear srt brakes also takes a specific backing plate and ebrake assembly.
