Can I disable the initial seat belt chime?

I've successfully disabled the chime that beeps every 60 seconds if the seat belt off.

However, I want to now disable the chime that beeps when initially starting the vehicle and the seat belt is not buckled. It beeps 3-5 times and it's really annoying. I always wear my seat belt, but I put it on right after I start my vehicle and I could do without the beeping. Is there anyway to do this without pulling the fuse out and if so, how? Thanks.

How did you disable the chime when the belt is off?

Yea bud, you can always drive less than 5 mph so chime never occurs

But I don't think you can disable the single chime (once you disconnect seatbelt while driving)...

Maybe I'm just not explaining it correctly. I NEVER drive over 1mph WITHOUT my seat belt ON. My seat belt is ALWAYS ON if the vehicle is in motion.

I'm trying to disable the chime from when I enter and start the vehicle and my seat belt is off. I immediately buckle after the engine is started, but the chime has a good 3-4 beeps during that time period. I could simply buckle before the engine is started to avoid the chime, but I like to give the engine time to settle down a little bit between starting it and putting it in into drive. That time is the time it takes me to buckle my seat belt. If I buckle first, I'll just lose 3-5 seconds of my life every time I start my vehicle... that adds up in the long-run

Re: Can I disable the initial seat belt chime?

i think youre asking about key in the ignition turn to start process...

if so you cant disable those first initial beeps/alerts. they always come on and basic on every jeep.....
