Re: Can You Fit 11" Wide Wheels On Rear??

it says on that link I posted forged/3 piece....Honestly, I have no idea what a forged wheel is, let alone the benefit of having a 3 piece wheel over a 1 piece

Re: Can You Fit 11" Wide Wheels On Rear??

dayum...used is the way to go! my HRE's are over $2k each new, 3-piece forged with powdercoat/stainles lip. paid $2500 for all four WITH new tires, TPMS, mounted and shipped from FL. Deal of a century IMHO!!!

I really like those wheels, but until I am rolling in dough, I will never spend more than $500-1k per wheel!!!

Re: Can You Fit 11" Wide Wheels On Rear??

forged wheels/ is the process of taking a large piece of billet metal and having it stamped under extrmem amounts of pressure. the 3 piece wheel (sometimes 2 piece wheel) is taking the pieces of metal by bolting/sealing them together.

the 3 piece wheel doesnt make it anymore durable than a one piece wheel though (arguable)^^

those wheels look nice!

a perfect example of this machine that makes this stuff can be easily seen on any auto car show!!! hehhee
