Castrol ATF4 Synthetic in 545RFE Transmission?

I've been a Castrol fan over the years and want to run their ATF4 Synthetic in my 545RFE transmission (QDII). Any opinions or experiences? I'm at 78K, well past warranty, so open to any recommendations other than the Mopar brand.

Re: Castrol ATF4 Synthetic in 545RFE Transmission?

it calls for ATF + 4, so anyone that makes that will be good.

Yup, as long as it's the ATF+4 you should be fine.

Re: Castrol ATF4 Synthetic in 545RFE Transmission?

Be careful. Castrol claim that their ATF4 is also compatible with Dextron. That is not a good sign. Dextron is not compatible with our trany's.
