So my check engine light came on and I got a diagnostic ran on it and it and it threw U1411 for the code. About an hour afterwards the air stopped working on the first three settings. It works on the highest setting though. The check engine light went off but the airs still not working! I have an 05 WK. Anybody know what this may mean?? And please don't say it's the PCM!! That's kind of what I'm scared it may be

That code is a communication code and you may have a power train control module failing......and it may be just an electrical glitch. But if you are not experiencing any problems then I would have it cleared and keep and eye on it.

Battery age? Lots of reports that old batteries (i.e., OEM original batteries) in '05 WK's are failing. When they do, interesting codes begin appearing and MIL illuminates.

Recommend you have a battery capacity test performed before you spend any other $$$. May show normal voltage when sitting but drop immediately after startup until the alternator can catch up. PCM's do not like low voltage conditions.

Places like AdvanceAuto, AutoZone, Sears, etc. usually do it for free. After that, feel free pursue the other high-cost options.
