Battery age? Lots of reports that old batteries (i.e., OEM original batteries) in '05 WK's are failing. When they do, interesting codes begin appearing and MIL illuminates.
Recommend you have a battery capacity test
performed before you spend any other $$$. May show normal voltage when sitting but drop immediately after startup until the alternator can catch up. PCM's do not like low voltage conditions.
Places like AdvanceAuto, AutoZone, Sears, etc. usually do it for free. After that, feel free pursue the other high-cost options.
