Checking trans fluid on an 06 3.7

I wanted to check the trans fluid on my 06 3.7 cherokee because of hard shifting sometimes when I excelerate and let off the throttle. I noticed tho that there is no transmission dip stick, it has a cap and says in the manual for deal service only? How do I go about checking the trans fluid?

your gonna have to go to your dealer and buy the little kit to add the dipstick. I believe it was a TSB in like 2006.

Re: Checking trans fluid on an 06 3.7

where are you buying it from that you MUSt have the part number?

any online sites i use all have part names, never a number/

and if you plan on strolling into the dealer than have him/her look it up to make sure you get the correct part./
