I was told my Chrysler would do just this...and it did. I'm not buying another. Not when I can't throw a rock without hitting others who have experienced the same.

People can say what they want. Mines been flawless for the 30k+ miles of hard driving. But you've started becoming a troll on here by promoting a mazda on a JEEP forum. On top of that you constantly complained about it. Still don't know why you didn't just swap it for another one.

Go troll a mazda forum

I didn't swap it for another one because I didn't want another vehicle that sucked. I hated my Chrysler because of all the QA/QC problems. Why would I buy another one? People typically AVOID making the same mistake twice...

Just providing an honest interview so people like me don't get screwed like I did when I came here asking about jeep reliability. I see how fast you all dog pile the people who call jeep out and now understand why the few people with good experiences congregate here and skew the perceptions of those coming here for info. Its a good old boy club pretty much. I'll leave you to your snake oil, but not without first sharing.

If that's how you feel then feel free to come back when your mazda 3 decides to drop out of gear.

"Interview"? Really no one has interviewed you for a CR report on this forum. Face it. Your biased from reading CR. I guess your calling out all 60k members on this forum retared too aren't ya.

If you were honest you'd admit you got a bad one and just move on. That can happen to anyone with any vehicle, especially a used one. No one on this forum screwed you with bad info.

There are plenty of complaints on this forum about Jeep. Cruising some of the CX5 forums out there, I see much the same thing. The nature of forums like these is that people with problems post in an effort to try to get some help with them. The people who aren't having problems generally don't post as much. That in no way means you should use any forum as a gauge to judge any vehicle's reliability as the total complaints you'll find on a forum do not represent a high percentage of owners of any given vehicle on the road.

And jeep outsells the mazda 10 to 1 too. So there is ten times the sample size. Hence why you find ten times the issues
