Re: clicking noise when shifting from R to P
where is the noise coming from? inside the vehicle, outside?
A common issue is the front differential bushings, and this causes noise, most commonly a clunk that you feel because the drivetrain is loaded up in reverse and the shift to park quickly relieves all pressure on the drivetrain causing the loaded up diff not being secured properly due to bad bushings to clunk as it settles in the damaged bushing.
