Clicking when shift from park

Hey guys,

I'm getting a fairly loud clicking noise as soon as I shift out of Park. The sound is coming from the dash, sounds like right behind the climate control.

It's about 4-6 clicks/second for about 15 seconds. It only happens the first time I shift out of Park when the engine is running, i.e. if I go around the block, put it in Park but leave it running, then shift out of Park again, it doesn't happen. If I shut the engine off and then start it again, it will do it again as soon as I shift from Park.

Vehicle is a 2005 GC Rocky Mountain, 4x4 w/ 4.7L

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Will
