Cold Air Intake

4.7L V8, looking for CAI to add power and fuel efficiency. Looking at a K&N system. Any other recommendations as far as brand goes?

Re: Cold Air Intake

Although I have one for a 5.7, I love my aFe Stage 2 CAI with dry filter. Made the Hemi sound much better and don't have to worry about oiling the filter.

Re: Cold Air Intake

I had a K&N drop in panel filter before and now have the whole K&N CAI in my 3.7 WK. Doing it again id just get the drop in filter, just because its washable and save a few bucks down the road with throw away filters. Not a noticable difference in "performance" gains IMO. I'd spend the money on something else like swaybars or aftermarket stereo if you don't already have it. Just my 2 cents.
