Confused about spark plug gap requirements for my 3.7! .040? Input, please.

I'm near finished with my 60K mile service! Spark plugs are the only thing left on my list. I'm going to be installing NGK V Power ZFR6F11G. I'm getting multiple people telling me different gaps! The catalyst says .040 but everyone else is saying other gaps, such as: 0.42, 0.43 and the place I bought the plugs said .035!!!

I want this done correctly, so there are no problems such as pinging, knocking or overall poor performance.

If you can help me narrow this down, I really am grateful!

0.44 is the number I'm hearing the most. BUT...the sticker under the hood is calling for .040

I have saw multiple gap requirements from JEEP that contradict each other.

This is why I'm reaching out to my friends here.

Milous, what source did you get the .044 from?

Ok, just checked again, 2006 3.7L is now showing .042 in the latest factory service manual. Jeep has changed this a couple times...
