cross rail removal

im trying to take the cross rails off the roof rack and i cant seem to get the clips out,i loosened the round screw things and remved them but i cant pull them out,it sounds stupid but how do i get the brackets that clip over the side rails off?

all i did was unscrew the nob all the way, pull the pin and lift and the cross bars came right off but it might be different with your year

ya i think so because there is a little metal pin that holds the clips on and it wont push out

i pulled them out with ease but if their stuck pliers should work
