If you love Jeeps as much as I do, than you also love FLASHLIGHTS!! :D I found an awesome spot in my '06 WK to mount my MagLight flashlight. It sits in the back cargo area on the ledge next to either window, the mounts can be bought at most hardware stores from $5 - $10 bucks. The back windows are tinted dark enough so that you can just barely see it from the outside, check it out!!

Nice, all about sharing ways to customize our jeeps on here. And this is one that I might look into. Cheap and I can think of a couple times I've wish I had remembered to pack my flashlight. Now I just gotta buy an extra flashlight along with the mounts. Thanks alot! Helping others spend money. Continuing theme. hahaha

Bro, I have been wanting to do this for a long time. I went to Home Depot and Lowes looking for those mounts. The people at both stores thought I was crazy. What exactly are those called. Do you have the package? I wil be doing this as soon as I have the info!
Thanks
Mike

I just place my light on the driver seat were the bottom meets the bottom of the upper part of the seat. I don't feel it when I sit on it and its right there when I get out of my car if I need it. When I'm in my Camaro, I have it inbetween my center glovebox and my passenger seat since my Camaro is much smaller than my Liberty.

haha yea people are crazy. But as my gf always yells at me when I start to yell, antagonize, or whatever with the crazies, you never know how crazy that person is. Becareful especially in a no witness situation such as that. That being said, I don't blame you I prob would've done the same:thumbsup:. LOL

That's a good observation my friend... however they are on there pretty solid, i have to yank pretty hard on that light to get it out of the holders... also the handle of the light is engraved with a grip pattern so it helps hold the light stronger (and makes it more of a bitch to remove)

Very cool! How secure/tight is that fitting? My only concern would be it shaking loose in an accident.

I think about those things. Usually, when I see people with 6x9 speakers resting on their rear window sill.

I have a Surefire LED flashlight about 4" long. Cut the upper net out of center consol and screwed in a universal mount for it. No more digging and looks sweet!

Have to admit though, also mounted a Surefire in DGora's spot. As we all know, the trunk light might as well not be there. Thanks for the idea DGora!!!

Surefire > Maglight :)

LFK i can see you are new to this forum and let me welcome you... however you will soon learn that when you make claims such as custom modifications to your jeep people ( LIKE ME ) would love to see a pic of said mod haha ... so lets see it!

12" Mag Light > 4" Surefire
